Greetings! I’m Amy Zoe Schonhoff, a certified mindfulness teacher, experienced speaker, and founder of Mindfulness in the Heartland.
I teach individuals and groups how to cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, compassion, and inner wisdom using the empowering practices and principles of mindfulness.
With more than 30 years of practicing and exploring the contemplative origin of mindfulness, I believe we all have the capacity to heal and reconnect to our inherent sense of goodness, worthiness, purpose and knowing.
I earned my Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher certification through the world-renowned Mindfulness Center at Brown University, a premier mindfulness training for secular teachers created by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. I’m also certified in Advanced Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness.
